Haven't posted in awhile ...

The past couple of weeks have been very busy for me. Also, Janny got a new job and we have both been trying to keep up with our busy lives. She is flying down to Charlotte for her 6 week orientation and I'm still out in Richmond, VA.

In between it all, we managed to have a quick bday bbq with a couple of friends of ours.

Anyways, I took a flight today (yes, on 9/11) from Charlotte to Richmond and it wasn't all that bad I guess. It pains me to recall that same day 5 years ago and makes me even more mad at the people who were responsible for this disaster. A moment of silence is the best we can do now to at least remember the good things that came out of such a terrible disaster.

Change of subject .... updates on the house:
-grass is greener
-the builder finally came by to clean up our roof; it was full of construction material
-we bought a couch for the living room and then returned it; don't ask ..

... and that's about it.

One bad incident that occurred last week was that I got rear-ended just north of Market Village last Friday. The friggin Corolla driver broke last minute and slid into my car. The rear bumper got scraped so I'll have to take the car in for some shop work. Good thing the damage wasn't more and it seemed like the car took the hit pretty well. All in all, could have been worse. Oh well.
